There's a new jewelry candle on the market, folks. Katya Candles, based in California, creates high-essence aromatherapy soy candles that come with a ring, guaranteed to be Swarovski Crystal or Sterling Silver.
First, let's talk about this gorgeous packaging. The box is elegant and sturdy, ready to be gifted. When I opened the shipping box, I was immediately greeted with the lovely scent. The cold throw on this candle is that amazing.
The label on the jar has the same design as the box. The glass jar itself is elegant and fits with any decor. The candles also all have white wax, which I love. I'm not so much a fan of the colored waxes anymore. White is great because it goes with anything, and why add those artificial dyes when they're not really needed? As you can see, the scent I tested was Current & Fig. I can best describe it as what you smell when you walk into a high-end soap shop or a spa. It's fresh and clean.
The ring process definitely sets Katya Candles apart from the others. Every other jewelry candle company buries the prize in the wax. In my experience, this often results in the prize being covered in at least some wax and needed a good cleaning before you can wear it. Katya places the foil packet right on top of the candle, so you can enjoy your prize right away (or wait, if you prefer.) In either case, her reason for doing this may surprise you. It's really for the safety of the candle owner. As Katya says, "All other jewelry candles wrap the jewelry in a foil and put it inside the wax. This is very risky as foil is FLAMMABLE. There is a small chance that the foil will catch the burning wick and create the fire in the house (if left unattended). We care about our customers and we do not want to create even a SMALL risky unfortunate situation."
Here is the bright and beautiful cocktail ring I received. It's definitely a unique style and something I haven't seen with the other ring candle companies. Much bolder. More colorful. I absolutely love it, HOWEVER, I have decided to give it away to one lucky reader. So keep going and you'll find a Rafflecopter giveaway at the end of this review! <3
Now, packaging and jewelry add to the overall experience and must be reviewed, but what really matters is the quality of the candle. Am I right? I am pleased to say this is one of the highest quality candles I have ever reviewed. The scent is gorgeous and complex. According to the website, Fig and Current "combines earthy fig flavor with a sweet currant and laced with soft musk, not overly sweet or syrupy. Slightly tart and tangy with a light spicy kick to it."
Katya Candles are hand poured, made of 100% soy wax, and contain 15% essential oils. The wax is soft and pools beautifully. The cold throw is very strong, but the hot throw is just right. I found that the candle thoroughly scented the air, but was never overpowering. It made my house smell like a spa, which I loved. Verdict: Katya Candles are one of, if not THE highest quality ring candle on the market. The essential oil blends are complex, the packaging is top-notch, and the wax superb. I liked this candle so much that I already ordered the Fir Balsam one for the holidays. Enter to win!

There are four Cs that determine the quality and price of fine diamond jewelry. It would be wise to find a store that guides customers through these four Cs to find the fitting jewelry for them.

Decorating oneself with ornaments is a very ancient tradition. If you look back at human history, you would find that men and women have tried many different ways to look and feel different right from the start of civilization. Body jewelry is one of those ways to beautify yourself where you need to get your body part pierced to wear a jewelry item on it.
