The Celebration Continues... Updates and Ask Me Anything

7/12/2015

I can hardly believe the first two weeks of July have come and gone. At the same time, I am having a great time celebrating with all of you. I hope you're having fun, too!

In the rafflecopter, one of the entries is to "ask me anything" and I received many great questions. You can hear them and my answers in this YouTube video. Since then, I have received one more question, which I will answer here.

Do you have a book (or series) that you read over and over? If so, what is it?
This is a great question. I love books, but I actually have a really hard time rereading them. I think a big part of the journey for me is the discovery of the story and plot. Once I know it, I have a hard time re-reading a full book. That said, I collect my favorites, mostly in  hardcover form, and I will reread certain scenes. My favorite series are: The Mortal Instruments, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Splintered, Mercy Thompson, The Southern Vampire series (aka Sookie Stackhouse), and Twilight.

I also promised to share some of my favorite scenes from my book. The first scene I shared was actually the prologue from Never Forgotten. You can watch the YouTube video to learn why. I'll post another video this week.

In other news... Always Remembered earned an InD'tale crowned heart
InD'tale, a magazine for small press and self-published authors, is known for its professional reviews. While I have received positive reviews on both Never Forgotten and Current Impressions, Always Remembered is my first novel to earn a crowned heart. It received a 4.5 star review, which you can read below or on InD'tale's website.

I hope you have a great week! And remember, comment, share, and like and you may be picked to win random swag. Also, don't forget to enter the Rafflecopter. The link is provided above. Happy Reading!
